Black History Month at Boone Hall

Boone Hall Plantation is offering a special Black History Month season pass for $50 which will give the purchaser the ability to visit as many days as they choose between February 1st and the 25th. The month will include a weekend speaker series and special celebration displays.

Taste of Gullah Geechee

Join Carolina’s Lowcountry Cuisine & Friends for the Taste of Gullah Geechee on Sunday, February 2nd. Indulge in a family-style meal showcasing authentic Gullah Geechee dishes prepared by local chefs. Your $75 ticket includes a flavorful meal and handcrafted cocktails.

Galentine's Day Cocktail Tour

Weekend Wine-Down
When: Every Saturday | 10 am-5 pm
Where: Deep Water Vineyard | 6775 Bears Bluff Road Wadmalaw Island
The weekly Wine-Down happens every Saturday, rain or shine. Guests can enjoy hourly tastings of six wines with a souvenir glass for $15, along with a variety of drinks from the patio bar, including wine slushies, meads, Bloody Marys made with jalapeño wine, and mimosas. Each event features a food truck and live music, with updates on the day’s lineup available on-site. Families and leashed dogs are welcome, with lawn games and a play area for kids. Visitors are asked to respect the resident animals, including rabbits, pigs, and chickens, for a stress-free environment.

Lowcountry Oyster Festival
When: Sunday, February 2, 2025
Where: Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens | 1235 Long Point Rd. Mt. Pleasant
Love oysters? If so, grab your oyster knives and look no further than this year’s Lowcountry Oyster Festival. Claiming to be the world’s largest oyster festival, this family-friendly event features live music, shucking and eating contests, imported beers, a children’s area, a food court, and—best of all—45,000 pounds of oysters! Garden Lights
When: Wednesdays-Sundays, February 6-22, 2025 | 6–8:30 pm, lights end at 10 pm

This special occasion occurs on the first Friday of every month (excluding January and July) and highlights dozens of art galleries and studios across the entire city. First Friday Artwalk
When: Friday, February 7, 2025
Where: Various Locations in Downtown Charleston

This special occasion occurs on the first Friday of every month (excluding January and July) and highlights dozens of art galleries and studios across the entire city. 2nd Sunday on King Street
When: Sunday, February 9, 2024 | 12-5 pm
Where: King Street from Queen to Calhoun Street
Every second Sunday of the month from noon until 5 pm, the City of Charleston shuts down King Street from Queen to Calhoun to through traffic. In addition, no cars are allowed to park, giving pedestrians the ability to stroll through the street and visit businesses they might not have known about. There are also artists displaying their work on the street and unique food vendors tempting guests with their fare.

Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE)
When: February 14-15, 2025
Where: Various locations
SEWE is the largest event of its kind in the United States that celebrates wildlife and nature through fine art, live entertainment, and special events. Be sure to visit the SEWE Marketplace located inside the Gaillard Center. There, you’ll find dozens of artisans, craftsmen, and tastemakers from across the country! More information coming soon!

Petals and Pours
When: Saturday, February 22, 2025 | 3-5:30 pm
Where: Magnolia Plantation and Gardens | 3550 Ashley River Rd., Charleston
Petals and Pours invites guests to experience Magnolia’s Sip & Stroll event, where live entertainment meets the historic beauty of the gardens. With a drink in hand, visitors can explore scenic pathways lined with vibrant camellias in full bloom.
The event offers an array of refreshing beverages paired with delicious bites, creating the perfect blend of flavors to complement the stunning surroundings. Sea & Sand Festival
When: February 22-23, 2025
Where: Folly River Park | Center Street Folly Beach,
Celebrating its 33rd year, the annual Sea & Sand Festival, Folly Beach’s longest-running event, returns for a weekend of family-friendly fun. Stretching from Folly River Park to the beach, the festivities will feature an artisan street fair and some lively sand competitions on Sunday.

Charleston Habitat's 2nd Annual Oyster Roast
When: Sunday, February 23, 2025
Where: Founders Hall | 1500 Old Towne Rd., Charleston
Have a shuckin’ good time at Charleston Habitat’s 2nd Annual Oyster Roast! Enjoy local oysters, BBQ, craft beer, lawn games, and live music by Two 3 Ways. All proceeds benefit Charleston Habitat for Humanity’s mission to provide affordable housing to families in the Lowcountry.
General Admission tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door. Children 6 and under are free with a paying adult, and tickets for children ages 7-12 are $20. Your ticket includes all-you-can-eat oysters, BBQ, and 2 drink tickets (beer or soda). Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase.
